Project in Puerto Rico!
I.C.E has been contracted by Oregon Iron Works, Inc. to move iron construction pieces like this curved gate leaf. Five gate pieces create one section, which is to be used in the building of a dam in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Each of these pieces is considered over-dimensional and was shipped with door-to-door service from Vancouver, WA.
New crane capacity at Jacksonville terminal
The ICE Jacksonville terminal is pleased to announce new lifting capabilities for our overhead crane. With the addition of a new; bridge, trolley, and hoist, our crane now has the ability to lift 40 tons of cargo weight. The new bridge has not only doubled our lifting capacity, but it has also increased the length of freight we can pickup. The ICE crane now has the ability to lift freight up to 50' long. The improvement to the overhead crane have also added more room underneath the crane. There is now enough space under the crane to easily fit two trailers side-by-side, thus enabling our employee's to work in a very efficient and safe manner. We can now move a piece of cargo from one trailer to another in a manner of minutes, allowing for a minimal amount of time that the cargo needs to be in the air. Along with the new; bridge, trolley, and hoist, we have also installed a new single phase remote. The new remote allows us to operate both units either independently from each other or simultaneously together. This gives us a wide range of options when planning each pick. The improvements to the crane have greatly increased the amount and varieties of freight that can be lifted here in the Jacksonville yard. We are very excited about the improvements to the crane and eager to test its limits, so please bring on the freight.

Bridge griders transported by ICE
"With the seamless transportation of these (7) bridge girders to be used for bridge construction over the La Plata River in Cayey, Puerto Rico , ICE Global, Inc. once again proves to be the number one specialized carrier providing service to Puerto Rico and worldwide. Each girder measured 101' long x 2'6" wide x 7'9" high @ 50,000 lbs. Expandable flatbed trailer opened to 80' long with 21' overhanging from the rear, protected by highway exports while moving in the United States and in Puerto Rico.
