ICE International has been contracted for the second year in a row for transportation of used military helicopters to Puerto Rico.

In August of 2004 ICE transported twenty-eight units from New York to Aguadilla, PR. Shipping requirements included, up to 5 trucks with 48’ single drop trailers per day to be loaded, real-time satellite tracking of the loads, some of the units were transferred at our Jacksonville, FL terminal. Additional trailer loads were required to ship parts and accessories. Inland, ocean, and Puerto Rico delivery was preformed by the ICE staff as a seamless door to door shipment, which is our standard of service.

Beginning July 2005 ICE began the first phase of transporting fifteen UH-1 helicopters from Texas to Aguadilla, PR. Anderson Trucking Service (ATS Specialized) assisted in meeting the clients transportation needs included as many as 5 trucks with 48’ single drop trailers per day for loading, DOT over dimensional permits for 10’6" wide, no transfer service at Jacksonville, FL., ocean services and Puerto Rico delivery to complete the door to door service.
